Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Maim Haim, we understand that plans can change. The following policy helps us plan our retreats responsibly while remaining fair to all participants.

Cancellation Requests
All cancellation or transfer requests must be submitted in writing by email to:

The date your email is received will determine the applicable cancellation fee.

 

 

Cancellation Fees​

Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the participant's total registration price.

Cancellation Date

More than 90 days before the retreat

90–61 days before the retreat

60–31 days before the retreat

30–15 days before the retreat

14–8 days before the retreat

Within 7 days of the retreat or no-show

Refund

Full refund less a ₪150 administrative fee

90% refund (10% cancellation fee)

70% refund (30% cancellation fee)

50% refund (50% cancellation fee)

25% refund (75% cancellation fee)

No refund

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method, less any applicable cancellation fees and any non-refundable payment processing fees.

 

 

Registration Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another eligible participant.


Transfers must meet the following conditions:

  • Written notice must be received by email at least 72 hours before the retreat.

  • A ₪150 transfer fee applies.

  • The replacement participant must complete the registration form and agree to all retreat policies.

  • Any financial arrangements between the original and replacement participant are solely their responsibility.

 

 

Retreat Changes & Unforeseen Circumstances
While we sincerely hope every retreat takes place exactly as planned, circumstances beyond our reasonable control may require adjustments.

 

These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
 

  • War or military conflict

  • National emergency

  • Government regulations or restrictions

  • Natural disasters

  • Public health emergencies

  • Severe weather

  • Other events beyond Maim Haim's reasonable control
     

In such circumstances, Maim Haim reserves the right to modify the retreat schedule, program, facilitators, accommodations, location, or format, or to postpone the retreat to the earliest reasonably feasible future date while preserving the overall quality and spirit of the experience.

 

 

If a Retreat Is Postponed

If the retreat is postponed and you are unable to attend the new dates, you may choose one of the following options:
 

  • Receive a refund of 90% of the amount paid

  • Donate your registration to the Maim Haim Healing Fund, helping someone experiencing financial hardship attend a future retreat

  • Transfer, gift, or privately resell your registration to another eligible participant, subject to completion of the registration process and acceptance of all retreat policies.
     

To request one of these options, you must notify Maim Haim within five (5) days of the postponement announcement.

Participant Acknowledgement & Assumption of Responsibility
 

By registering for a Maim Haim retreat, you acknowledge and agree that:
 

  • Participation in all retreat activities is entirely voluntary.

  • You will participate responsibly and within your own physical, emotional, and personal abilities.

  • You are responsible for informing Maim Haim, before the retreat begins, of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, dietary restrictions, pregnancy, medications, disabilities, or other health concerns that may affect your participation or require accommodations.

  • You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns about participating in retreat activities.
     

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release Maim Haim, its organizers, facilitators, volunteers, employees, and representatives from liability for personal injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to personal property arising from your participation in the retreat, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
